I would recommend you give this a read if you are an Yrsa fan, and Iceland fan or just fancy reading something chilling, I very much enjoyed it. Siguradrdottir decided to give this book a try, and even though I resisted falling into it for the first few chapters, it soon became on First of all, just look at the cover of this book with it’s generic title. But when Street tries to cash in on this discovery, he finds himself pursued by a Russian snatch squad. Thank you for choosing this for the book club and introducing her writing to me!

I even loved the ending, remmeber can often be a let-down. I also had a slight issue with how the two separate tales intertwined. Why can’t all books be this amazing. Sixty years before, another boy went missing in the area. And Lizzie’s different these days too. There were a couple of chapters that had some creepy parts but that was about it. Or is something truly eerie happening? Yrsa Siggurdardottir weaves a chilling tale of multiple mysteries, past and present, with a classic ghost story, allowing each to unfold naturally, like a strand of ivy, as they wander towards their singular point of origin.
